There is currently no good tree option of flora overhaul for winter mods, none. Would you consider converting your tree textures to be covered in snow? You would fill a gap that noone else offers. Full is a harsh word, heh. Not every tree texture needs conversion. But yes, as many snow trees as one could manage would be preferable. As there is a serious lack of them in the modding community. Forests of Dibella are using some same files from other mods of mine. Hi, this is by far my favourite trees mod. The v1. Could you please confirm that I have the correct files, which ones are replaced by the above, and which ones are now redundant and can be removed? The above files are brand new version, much more improved — so use this one.
Otherwise, this here new 1. Love these trees, they are simply gorgeous, Very colorful and eyecatching. I think this is the best tree mod overall atm. Enhanced Vanilla Trees has the true 3d billboards but the trees dont look as good as Forest of Dibella.
Forests of Dibella is the best balance of performance and looking good at a distance and up close IMO. Its also just the prettiest from an artistic perspective, I keep taking screen shots of the wonderfully lush forests I come across.
I do have one issue though, and that is with the billboards not matching the trees. I am not sure if something went wrong with my Dyndolod generation or if its a issue with the billboards. I am using the 3d lod Dyndolod seup and the snowy trees have greenish billboars rather than the white or light purple color the actual trees are. I will try reinstalling it and regenerating it, but maybe the billboards could be made to match the colors of the tree?
That light purplish snow tree is my favorite of all of them, so would be great to have it matching. I made the bilboards from scratch, as the rest textures. You probably using other textures too, together with FoD. For trees I am just using FOD atm. Might mix and match later, but honestly I am happy with pure FOD. I looked at the billboards fiies and it looks like they havent been changed since , so I think they were made to match your old snowy trees. Your new snow trees look very different and much better so they dont match the billboard anymore.
I think they are using the treepineforestsnow billboards found in the Skyrim. If you get the chance to update your billboards for the new versions that would be amazing. The other billboards still match well enough I dont notice, but that one is a bit jarring.
Also having issues with the billboard files for some reason after generating LOD with Dyndolod some treelods become orange in the swamp near solitude.. What do you mean? Forests of Dibella is a mod that changes the vanilla trees.
My computer graphics card failed and long story short I ended up doing a reset and nothing backed up.

A lot people do and they are happy about. Enjoy the mod, man. I love the trees close up but the bad lods are ruining the mod for me. I believe you installed without knowing it, probably mods that have also Lods and they ruined the FoD lods. So Im currently experiencing purple textures for the ancestor glade tree Dawnguard questline. I know this isnt your mods fault, but I did manually delete some aspen textures so I could add some other ones.
Could that be at fault, since your mod might use custom meshes for the tree? They were negative towards me from the beginning. You really need to improve the presentation of your mods, brother, these are HD quality mods, you need to show them in all their glory but those screenshots are depressing… I have an idea.
Run small screenshot contests with each mod for users, and the best screenies get to represent them. What do you think? Because you are great at making the mods and absolutely suck at showing them off.

Oh dang, the 3D trees mod was stolen from you? Oh my god, it would take down SO many mods if you did that. And the textures were all mine.
Where has this been all my life? High resolution huge trees and it even has billboards…bliss…sweet bliss…. I really love your mod, most beautiful trees available. Unfortunately, I have problems getting the heavy snow pines to show. Edit: Wait! Are you using my meshes too or only the textures?

You can use the textures to LE. I installed this and all the trees turned into large, translucent exclamation marks. How do I fix it? These make trees look lovely and realistic. The immersion is outstanding, you really feel there, absolutely amazing. Thxs a lot. Saw this on a youtube comparison video of forest mods.
